Immersion tubes

Dip tubes are the lower parts of the fork that are inserted into the triple clamps and determine the diameter and length of the forks.

The dip tubes are often made of high quality materials such as aluminium or steel and, depending on the model, may have different surface coatings to provide better corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.

Damage to the dip tubes can lead to significant problems, such as oil leakage or the inability to adjust the fork. It is therefore important to regularly check the dip tubes for scratches, cracks or other damage and replace them if necessary.
