On 21 September 2024, Jens Koch, aka ‘Doc Jensen’, celebrated his 25th anniversary in Schwarzenbek. We, Stein-Dinse GmbH, supported Doc Jensen and his team with appealing prizes for the raffle.
The weather was perfect and we welcomed more than 600 guests throughout the day. Great people, shop talk, lots of bikes and a great atmosphere! Our Sattler cover band, ‘Stingray’, played live music to get everyone in the mood. Rock, soul and blues made the coffee, cake, sausages and salads taste even better. The first Guzzi love, called ‘Frau Leman’ – a Le Mans 2 from Doc – was on display next to his second-oldest bike, a 850T, to greet guests as they entered. Doc Jensen's custom bikes and vintage bikes were on display in the workshop.
The man who gave his name to Doc Jensen and friend, Holger Aue, came by for a chat with his Le Mans. We donated our ‘Doc Jensen-voll Schocke Becher’ (Doc Jensen shock-absorbing beakers) with the first Aue drawings on them for the raffle. They were a big hit. The main prizes were a voucher for a set of motorcycle tyres from Bridgestone, including fitting by us, a handmade fire barrel with the Doc Jensen logo, Doc Jensen spring checks, a curve training course from Motoperfect and motorcycle bags from Hepco & Becker. Our foreman Achim's Ape provided a very rustic and presentable setting for the raffle prizes in the courtyard, and our employee Anni had her hands full dealing with the rush. Every ticket a win and support for a good cause – our bikers were happy to take part!
The BffK e.V. – Biker fahren für Kinder (Bikers ride for children) club, based here in Schwarzenbek, actively supported us in roasting the sausages. We are delighted that the event raised €1,500 in donations for the club's social projects. According to President ‘Hucky’, this is the largest single donation of the year!
