At the Börjes Autumn Meeting 2025 in Augustfehn, two motorcycles will be raffled off in aid of the Ammerland Hospice in Westerstede:
1. Moto Guzzi 850 T5 P Caferacer, year 83
2. Ducati 750 SS, year 91 (original condition, as Stein-Dinse Edition)
The ticket sale starts on January 1, 2025. The tickets will be sold directly at events. There is also the option of paying money by bank transfer to an appropriate account with your name, address and email address. The tickets will then be filled out by the "Project Hospice" association and the association's volunteers. 100% of the proceeds will go to the hospice.
First of all, the Moto Guzzi Caferacer will be built. With the help of us, Stein-Dinse GmbH as the main sponsor, this motorcycle will be converted into a caferacer. Heinrich Diers takes care of the complete conversion of the Guzzi and has given us an interesting insight into his work:
The Moto Guzzi T5 Polizia that we are converting here was completely disassembled.
We had the frame sandblasted and then powder-coated, the wheel rims were painted, and the tyres were mounted.
The forks were put together, but we still haven't come up with an idea for replacing the plugs at the top, as they no longer exist, but we're working on it.
The engine and gearbox were completely disassembled, cleaned and sealed by Classics MC in Ahrensboek. Now it is being reassembled.
We have adapted the LeMans tank to the frame so that it can be mounted, as it was not compatible.
The Hospice 2025 project is progressing slowly, after a few small problems it is running.
The Ducati 750 SS was refurbished by Werner, which means it was cleaned and is now almost like new again.
The Duc will not be further processed, it remains original. The bench is being reworked by Christian and later there will be small design adjustments by Stein-Dinse.
Hergen was able to build the Guzzi up to the rolling chassis. Packages with the necessary parts arrive weekly from Stein-Dinse. Without them, we would not be as far along.
We then took both bikes to Hattech exhaust systems in Ringingen, where the exhaust systems were adapted and fitted. We are very satisfied with the work and the sound.
Furthermore, the speedometer holder and the intake funnels were mounted on the Guzzi. Slowly but surely, it is becoming complete.
