LaGeWo #287

Since the beginning of 2024, we have been sponsoring this young, up-and-coming racing driver and 2-time winner of the ‘German Moto Masters Championship’ Lars Gerrit Wozniak (LaGeWo #287).

For his ninth birthday, his father gave him a voucher to go karting with his friends at a track in Oberhausen. There it became clear that there was petrol in his veins. Lars Gerrit was then enrolled in a club where he quickly dominated his place at the top and won indoor championships. German indoor karting champion was the result. The next step was outdoor racing. Here he realised that things were very different to the indoor sector and that you couldn't keep up with the top without money. It was very difficult to gain a foothold.

At some point, Lars Gerrit realised that he wanted more: more horsepower, more racing, more risk. So he switched from karting to motorbike.

Lars took part in a number of racetrack training sessions. He wanted to improve. He wanted to get faster.  He wanted to understand his motorbike better and know how everything was connected. Wozniak made progress very quickly and took part in his first races. And with success.

In order to finance his hobby, Lars combines his hobby with his job. Working part-time as an instructor and riding coach is not only fun and enjoyable, it also allows him to make an important contribution to the promotion of young talent.

Today, he competes in championships and has set himself the goal of defending his title for the 3rd time this year.
