Moto Morini is a traditional Italian motorcycle brand that was founded in Bologna in 1937 by Alfonso Morini. The company originally started out producing engines for tricycles before specialising in motorcycles after the Second World War. In the 1950s, Moto Morini achieved great fame with its sporty 125 and 175 cc machines, which were characterised by reliability and innovative technology.
A milestone in the company's history was the development of the first V2 engines in the 1970s, which established Moto Morini as a pioneer in the middle class. The 3½ model became particularly famous and was considered one of the best motorcycles of its time.
In 2018, the brand was relaunched by its new owner, the Zhongneng Vehicle Group. Today, Moto Morini combines Italian design with modern technology while remaining true to its roots as a manufacturer of motorcycles with a strong character.
