Motorex copper paste, 100 gramm

COPPER PASTE is a copper paste which forms an effective separating layer between metal surfaces from - 40 °C to + 900 °C, and up to + 1200 °C for short periods, thus preventing seizure. The paraffin-based base oil is effective up to a temperature of 280 °C, above which lubrication is provided by the copper particles. These particles also provide the effectively treated parts with optimum corrosion protection. Assembly paste for all types of screws, threads and press fits.

Field of application:
Assembly paste for all types of screws, threads and press fits. Has proven itself in thermally and mechanically highly stressed applications: e.g. exhaust screw connections, turbochargers, press fits, threads and screws in hot steam valves, fittings in hot steam installations, etc.

Note:
Not suitable for roller bearings or high-speed plain bearings.
