The HELICOIL® Plus Free Running thread insert is a wire thread insert for thread reinforcement and repair. It can be attached and screwed in like a screw. The HELICOIL® Plus Free Running thread insert forms a gauge-containing internal thread that can be used on both sides for secure, high-strength screw connections. The tang is cut off at the notch (predetermined breaking point) after installation.

The HELICOIL® Plus Free Running thread insert is particularly suitable for materials with low shear strength and can also be quickly identified after installation thanks to its green coloring.
