Sintered metal brake pads (SG; SM; ST; XRAC)
Sintered brake pads are made of sintered metal powders that are bonded under high pressure and temperatures. This manufacturing process gives the pads high heat resistance and consistent braking performance, even under extreme conditions.
Sintered brake pads are particularly suitable for sporty drivers who place high demands on their brakes, for example when driving fast or on the racetrack. They provide reliable braking performance even in wet conditions.
SG (Off-Road)
The SG sintered lining is for off-road use and is suitable for both dry and muddy conditions.
SM (Road)
The SM sintered linings are available for the most common high-performance scooters. They have been specially developed for the needs of maxi scooter riders.
ST (Road)
The ST sintered metal compound offers the highest bite and braking performance of any material in the Ferodo brake lining range. Recommended for motorcycles with low to high engine displacement.
XRAC (Racing)
The Ferodo XRAC sintered blend has been used in top-level competition for several years. The material has been formulated to provide aggressive and immediate bite with high and consistent friction values over a wide range of temperatures, speeds and operating conditions.
ZR (Racing)
The ZR sintered compound is designed for use in front brake calipers in off-road racing and performs in all conditions. It offers the highest performance and bite in the Ferodo off-road range, with excellent control over the entire temperature range.
