Aprilia Quick Shift - 125 Tuono

Electronic system to better the gear shift, more precise and quick, skipping the use of the clutch lever. Quickshifts for RS 125 and Tuono 125 are not interchangeable, due to the different position of the footboards on the vehicles. NOT FOR 50cc VEHICLE VERSIONS: 50cc vehicle versions cannot adopt Quickshift since their electronics does not support it. Quick Shift is the innovative gear shifting system that Aprilia has used and perfected on tracks all over the world. Just like with its big sister, the RSV4, the electronic system manages torque interruption for the engaged gear change, by controlling how far the throttle is open and the engine revs, allowing the rider to upshift from 2 gear onwards while holding the throttle open and without using the clutch. Warning: the system works only upwards from second gear on (shifting from first to second gear needs the clutch use) with the gas open but not downwards.
