The exhaust systems of the Ex-Box series are based on the principle of resonance chambers. Inside the Ex-Boxes is a kind of "labyrinth" of successive chambers in which the exhaust gases expand and lose acoustic energy.
The volumes and passages between these chambers are appropriately sized and "tuned" according to the pressure waves generated by the engine, ensuring optimal efficiency of the thermal unit and a good reduction of the decibel level at the exhaust outlet.
The Ex-Box series systems give the motorbike a significant increase in dynamics, as the exhaust, which is already lighter than the original, is positioned very close to the ground, in an area that is practically free of movement when changing direction.
In addition, the positioning below the front wheel bolt reduces the moment of inertia when braking, causing the front fork to drop and the rear axle to rise.
