The MaXcone series silencers are designed for those who want a classic look for their motorbike. The "megaphone" line and the use of high quality polished AISI 304 stainless steel give the MaXcone silencers an aggressive & elegant character.
The die-cast magnesium housing base with the logo in relief is modelled on the classic "counter cone" used on racing bikes in the 70s.
The MaXcone series silencers are designed internally to ensure maximum performance and sound levels. The system used inside provides for a barrel in which a hole with a diameter of 5 mm and a spacing of 8 mm is drilled. The layering of the sound absorbing material has been studied to give the terminal a sound characterised by low frequencies below 800 Hz. At the same decibel level, the timbre of the QD MaXcone series silencers is deep and low, the best you could wish for to give your motorbike a "voice" with strong character.
The QD MaXcone series silencers are equipped with the GAS-EXTRACTOR system. This system enhances the exhaust flow by increasing the suction of the exhaust system. The GAS-EXTARCTOR creates a so-called "pulsation" area that absorbs the pressure waves generated by the engine and thus lowers the decibel level.
